"content_html": "
Free no longer needs an account, Pro syncs your setup between PCs and gives apps separate accounts, and window modes hold their place above other apps.

New

Free without an account. Side Whisper works without an account. Free opens straight to setup and the sidebar. Sign in and the 14-day trial are optional, from Account, the Pro window, setup or the tray, and closing the sign-in window changes nothing.

Sync between your PCs. Pro keeps your sidebar, personal templates, themes, voice Dictionary and Snippets, and portable browser settings in step on every PC signed in to your account. Cookies, separate accounts, open tabs, shortcuts and settings that belong to one PC stay local. Sync is on once you sign in with Pro and can be turned off under Account, then Sync.

Separate accounts for an app. Choose Separate account in Edit shortcut, or Duplicate as separate account in the link menu, to keep a second sign-in to the same site with its own cookies. Removing an account's last shortcut asks whether to forget its sign-ins and site data.

Pin to top and Mute app. Pin to top keeps an app above the others, with a divider. Pinned apps reorder among themselves and return to their old place when you unpin them. Mute app mutes every current and future tab of that app and shows a muted chip on its tile.

More in the tab menu. Keep as main tab makes a tab open first every time and saves its address as the app’s own. Add to sidebar saves a tab as a new app and leaves it open. Add to personal library saves it to your library.

Download progress ring. The Downloads button shows a progress ring while files download, and the Downloads popup opens when a download starts. In Gaming the popup stays closed.

Improved

Panic button and theme import are Free. The Panic button and theme import are now part of Free. Theme export stays Pro, and every Pro feature shows the same PRO chip.

Continue with Free. When the device limit or a new terms consent stops a signed-in account, the sign-in window offers Sign out and continue with Free. Signing out, or removing this PC from your account, also returns to Free instead of reopening sign-in.

Session import for separate accounts. Import browser sessions can now bring a sign-in into the shared profile or into an app's separate account.

Browser windows follow the sidebar. Open browser windows follow the sidebar when its monitor or screen edge changes, including windows running minimized in the background.

Back in one click from the tray. Clicking the tray icon brings Side Whisper back in one click when other apps cover it, and showing it again restores the browser windows it hid. Ctrl+Alt+0 follows the same rule.

Clearer cache and cookie clearing. Empty Cache and Hard Reload clears the cache but keeps a site’s service workers. Clear cookies and site data asks first, removes the site’s domain cookies and reloads the page.

Fixed

Windows stay above your other apps. Productivity On Top and Gaming keep the sidebar and browser windows above other apps after menus, popups and modals open or close. Windows no longer drops the whole Side Whisper group behind other apps.

Windows opened by web apps. Video-call, sign-in and payment windows now stay above the game in Gaming and above other apps in Productivity On Top, with your overlay opacity applied. A site that opens a window without a size now gets a real tab you can control.

One prompt for notifications. A site that asks for notification permission, such as Discord, opens the Side Whisper prompt once, even when it asks again and again, and respects the Allow or Block choice you saved.

Downloads from popup windows. Files downloaded from a site's popup window now save to the folder you chose, like every other download.

Focus stays visible. Keyboard focus stays visible on the selected Window mode row, Site settings choice and screen-share source. Clicking into the sidebar or a Settings field no longer hides a shadow or an invalid field's red outline.

Notifications and permissions. Sites that use Web Push no longer show notifications as blocked after you allow them. Site settings explains that push is not available and that the site can notify you while its tab is open. Reset permissions also clears permissions held by embedded frames.

Dragging only moves up or down. Dragging a sidebar icon now moves it vertically only, so dragging sideways no longer scrolls every icon out of the rail.

Sign-in after you quit. A magic-link sign-in that finishes after you quit the app no longer reopens the sign-in window or the sidebar.

",

      "content_html": "
Gaming learns per-game profiles and a Borderless windowed hint, the Panic button arrives for Pro, and temporary windows can be kept in the sidebar.

New

Per-game profiles. Gaming can save the Window mode, overlay opacity and HUD visibility for each game, and applies them while that game is in front. A profile keeps only a hash of the game path.

Panic button. Turn it on in Settings, then press Alt+Shift+H to mute the active browser window and cover its page with a safe page you chose. Press the shortcut again to restore everything.

Borderless windowed hint. Gaming suggests Borderless windowed when a fullscreen game would hide the overlay. Dismiss it for one game or turn it off. It does not claim to detect exclusive fullscreen.

Keep in sidebar for temporary windows. A temporary window offers Keep in sidebar from its rail tile, its toolbar and a ten-second toast after it closes. The saved app keeps its address, title and icon.

Sleep tab and fresher site icons. Sleep tab puts a tab to sleep right away. Change icon can look up the latest site icon, and the bookmarks bar shows cached local site icons.

Improved

Background throttling in Gaming. Inactive browser windows and tabs are throttled while Gaming is on, and restored when you leave it. The switch is in Settings, under Advanced and Performance.

Theme cross-fade. Previewing and saving a theme cross-fades the colors when your system supports it. With reduced motion turned on, the change is instant.

",
