The three input modes
- View keeps the overlay visible while pointer input continues to the game.
- Interact lets you operate the visible Side Whisper controls.
- Focus intentionally transfers keyboard ownership so you can type and navigate.
Performance HUD
The Pro-preview HUD reports only locally observed values. Game FPS is derived from real PresentMon frame events for a validated game process. Missing counters remain missing.
- Inline, column, and minimal layouts
- Left or right work-area anchoring
- Independent metric visibility
- Text size, weight, case, color, opacity, and optional backing plate
Compatibility boundaries
Borderless and normal fullscreen workflows are the primary target. Exclusive fullscreen, anti-cheat restrictions, protected video, and unusual multi-GPU setups can change what Windows allows an overlay to display or measure.
