Before you begin
Side Whisper is built for Windows 10 and Windows 11. It runs as a compact desktop sidebar and opens companion browser windows beside that rail.
During early access, downloads are tied to an invited account. The Microsoft Store launch path is still being prepared, so availability can differ by account.
Set up the rail
- Choose the left or right screen edge.
- Select the preferred monitor for startup.
- Set the compact or expanded rail width.
- Add links, web apps, and dividers, then drag them into order.
Choose a window mode
- Productivity: browser windows behave like normal Windows windows.
- Productivity On Top: the sidebar and browser stay above desktop windows.
- Gaming View, Interact, or Focus: use fullscreen-aware topmost behavior with explicit input control.
