Lifetime, in plain words.

One payment. Every update we ship, for as long as Side Whisper exists. Three PCs on one account. It isn’t tied to a version number and it isn’t transferable. We’re capping the launch batch at 500 licenses so we can stand behind every one of them. After that, lifetime is $99.

QUESTIONS

Pricing, answered.

Short on purpose. The long versions live in the guide to accounts, devices and licensing.

Do I need an account?

Not for Free. Side Whisper runs on your PC with nothing to sign up for. An account is what starts the trial and carries your Pro license to three PCs.

Does the trial need a card?

No. Create an account and the 14 days start. When they’re up, you’re on Free. Nothing is charged and nothing is deleted.

What happens to my stuff when Pro ends?

It stays. Themes, snippets, dictionary entries and templates beyond the Free limits remain readable and you can still delete them. You just can’t add new ones until you’re back on Pro.

What does “lifetime” mean, exactly?

The lifetime of Side Whisper, with every update we ship. It isn’t tied to a version number: if the app exists, your license works. One account, three PCs, not transferable. We cap each lifetime batch so we never sell more than we can support.

Monthly or yearly?

Same features either way. Yearly is $39, about $3.25 a month, which is 35% less than paying monthly. Monthly is there if you want to kick the tires without committing.

How many PCs can I use?

Free runs anywhere, with no account. Pro runs on three PCs at the same time, under one account. For a new laptop, sign an old PC out under Account, then Devices, on the website or in the app. No need to email us.

Where do I get the app?

From the Microsoft Store, for Free and Pro alike. Buy Pro here, then sign in from the app and Pro unlocks on that PC. The Store keeps the app up to date.

Who charges my card?

Paddle, our merchant of record. They handle the payment, add your local VAT, send the invoice and run the billing portal where you can change or cancel your plan. We never see your card number.

Can I get a refund?

Yes, within 14 days of any purchase, lifetime included. Email support@sidewhisper.app and say you want one. There’s no form and no “are you sure” survey.

Can I switch plans?

Monthly to yearly happens in the billing portal and the unused days are credited. Moving to lifetime: email us and we’ll credit what’s left on your subscription against the one-time price.

Does my voice leave my PC?

No. The speech models download once and run on your machine. Audio is never uploaded, on Free or on Pro.

Do you sell team licenses?

Not yet. If you need five or more seats, email us and we’ll work something out by hand.
